Painted on 3 masonite panels of 4 x 8 feet each,
this mural has an intrisic meaning to it's composition.
Prepare yourself for a deep and esoteric explanation of it ! : )

Inspired by an ancient Initiatic system of representation of the universe, it showcases 3 complementary planes; Divine ( The Spirit ), spiritual ( our feelings and thoughts ) and physical ( matter and our actions ).

The upper panel , with its sun ( which can be considered symbolicly, as the best material manifesation of the Divine; it warms, enlightens and vivifies all creatures ) and the Heavens painted on it, represent the Spirit, the origin of all things. The point in which man is united with the Divine eternally. It is the superior centre of the superconscience in which, man is already perfect.

The middle panel, with it's roofs, windows, differents points of view and of course, the character pointing towards the sun, represents the spiritual plane; that which corresponds to the feelings and thoughts that we have within us. Following from the fact that they are either far or close from Spirit, in affinity with it's splendor or not, profiting from it's superior currents or not, they are either tern and heavy, or joyous and luminous. The more a being has taken the time to work on himself, to model his spiritual world according to a high ideal; the perfection of the Divine, the more his feelings and thoughts ( and later on, even his face, festures and posture ) , reflect little by little something of the Source from which they hold their inspiration. Such a man walks in the path of Love and Wisdom.

The lower panel, represents the supporting base within creation. The matter thanks to which, the spiritual and Divine worlds, can manifest themselves concretely. The feet of the character, the lettering which represents the intrisic idea contained in this mural ( the word "Link" ) and the brick walls, represent in a very symbolical way the supporting role that occupies in the universe, the physical plane.

These 3 planes, each also respectively correspond; to Meaning, content and form. Or on a different scale; to the introduction, the development and the conclusion of a text. Or again also; to the head, the lungs and the heart, and the lower body and feet.

These planes are all linked together, and just as Spirit without matter would remain formless, floating no one knows where in immensity, just as matter without Spirit, loses it's purpose. The latter simply cannot be explained by itself. A superior element is necessary so that it can be understood in its fullness.

That is why it is important for man, living in matter, to always stay very well linked with his Source, to lead an intense spiritual life. We must, of course, know how to stay with our two feet on the ground but also, and that is very important, always keep a good link with the Heavens, symbolicly speaking.

Man, being plunged outwardly in matter, inwardly in his thoughts and feeling and being in his point of origin, always present within Spirit, lives in these 3 worlds. The goal of creation and of our incarnation here on earth, is to work on ourselves so that the middle and lower planes, can someday ressemble in the most marvelous way, to the Divine perfection from which they emanate. Then, all things will enter in harmony, which is nothing else in fact, then the possibility to vibrate in unisson with a determined object, in this case; God or the Superior Self.

Man will someday become, after many many incarnations, the perfect reflection of infinite love and eternal wisdom, from which he holds his origin. Even though the seed planted in the ground ressembles in nothing the tree from which it came at first, it shall however someday ressemble it fully.

By working to model himself each day according to what is superior, the qualities of the Divine, we become more and more able to link ourselves with our Source, and all the benedictions and marvelous states of conscience which flow from it. The idea is not to reject matter, nor the Spirit of course, but to know that we need to work on matter, so that it can someday represent in its full splendor; Spirit.

Such is the game, the marvelous cosmic challenge which we all chose to participate in, a long tme ago ... ! : )

And what is the best way to link ourselves with the Divine, our inner Heavens ? Light. It is she who maintains the link, between the 3 worlds. To work at loving, thinking and acting according to her measures, is to already live in truth.
