Many will say that there is no greater ideal than to work for their country. No, this cannot be so because their country does not represent the totality of things. If everyone starts to work and care only for their country, this can only lead to conflicts with the other countries. When we focus ourselves only on a little part of the whole, we necessarily enter in conflict with the other parts of that whole. So that there might be peace in the world, we must understand things in a much broader perspective : a universal one. In order to evolve, we must always introduce within ourselves a broader point of view, open our hearts to an always increasing number of creatures, and put all of our will at the realisation of a universal family."
