What could be the simplest way to avoid wars? Simply convince the two involved parties that their true best interest is peace. The tought: "Someday the will call a war, and no one will come" is an invitation to a future reality. That is what the pathway towards the sun, the light represents. If we are not going to war anymore, it means that we're busy somewhere else! And this "somewhere else" can simply represent a different philosophy and quality of life. When a human being places something beautiful to accomplish in his mind, that he holds reverence for all life and the very chance that he has to simply be alive, he becomes very detached from all the things that lead to war, and that, on all levels.
You can call those who work for peace "deamers" if you like, but it seems to me that the biggest illusion of all is beleiving that war ever solved anything! People have died for nothing, and the problems have simply changed form. It is because of the fact that we put too much emphasis on our egos and desires of domination that we are stuck with wars. The real reasons behind them are never money or territory, as these are only neutral elements! It is normal to have the desire to dominate of course, if nature created that instinct, then there is a good reason for it. And what is it that we can dominate you say? Ourselves ! Let us master our own being, then we will never wish to dominate anyone else.
In this sense, going towards the sun also represents going towards our superior nature. We all have it, all that is needed is the good will and courage to put that superior Intelligence as our first priority in life.
Let us then occupy ourselves with peace, with the mastering of our own beings. Let us place all our energies at the service of our sublime Ideal, and may peace be with us!
